3-Tip Tuesdays: Who's it for, What's it for, & Did it work

Sent by Corey Hiben

As a business owner, you’re a professional.

Professionals take the heat, have clarity, and keep promises.
👇

1. Who’s It For?

The reason you won’t pick one type of person to serve is because you’re afraid.

You’re afraid they wont like it.

As a result you try to make it for everyone.

So when they say “I don’t like it.”

You can say “Oh, it wasn’t actually for you.”

Drop the ego.

Take the heat. 🔥

Be a professional.

Serve the smallest viable audience.

”My product/service is for…”

2. What’s It For?

Do you know the purpose of your service/product?

Is it…

  • To end chronic disease?
  • To build community?
  • To educate people on a healthier lifestyle?
  • To help people gain confidence?
  • To participate in a sport?
  • To disrupt the healthcare industry?

Being clear about what you’re doing is the first step to doing it better.

”I will serve people who want…”

3. Did It Work?

A professional makes promises and keeps them.

They don’t show up when they feel like it.

They show up because they made a promise.

A promise to help their customers get what they want. 👆

Have you asked your customers if what you did worked?

If it did, awesome they will tell their friends.

If it didn’t, awesome you learned valuable feedback to help you improve.

”I promise to help them…”

Until next time,
