“Marketing Tips for Health & Fitness Brands”

Estimated read time: 1 minute & 48 seconds.

Everyone wants leads.

But nobody understands systems.

Systems = leads.

Here’s the system.

LFG

👇

1. Attention

Breaking news.

Your leads problem is probably an attention problem.

I host a Meetup community in Austin.

Venues will offer to host us for free.

Do you think they do it out of the kindness of their heart?

Maybe… but unlikely.

They have bills to pay like the rest of us.

They do it because it creates attention for their venue.

It’s the top of the funnel (ToFu) for them.

Free events = more attention.

My point?

All lead gen systems start with attention.

  • Paid ads.
  • Social media.
  • Community events.
  • Brand partnerships.

They all work, so pick one and get good at it.

More attention = more leads.

2. Trust

Attention starts the client journey.

But trust continues the journey.

I used to think that social media was the key to new leads.

But it’s only the start.

I vastly underestimated the amount of trust that is required to get somebody to reach out.

Potential leads want to know the way you think.

Potential leads want to know the way you work.

They want to know without a shadow of a doubt that you can help them solve their problem.

Without trust, this is impossible.

I have two ways that I build trust.

A newsletter and a podcast show.

This is the middle of the funnel (MoFu) for me.

Everything I do from an attention standpoint (social media) is a way to bring them one step closer to me (podcast or newsletter) so that I can build trust.

In other words.

I show them I know what I’m talking about.

Here are 3 options:

  • You write - blog or newsletter
  • You speak - podcast
  • You video - YouTube

Pick one and get good at it.

3. Community

Everything starts with attention.

But everything ends with community.

I recently attended a community workout at Onnit Gym.

Let me make something very clear.

People did NOT attend for the workout.

The people at this event didn’t need another workout.

Everyone was fit as hell.

They were there for the community.

You see, no matter what your business is.

Community is the bottom of the funnel (BoFu).

It’s where you deepen your relationships with the people you want to serve.

If someone makes it this far into your client journey.

You’ll have a customer for life.

Take home point…
- Start with attention.
- Build trust.
- Deepen the relationship with community.

✌️

Curious… what’s your favorite way to get attention?
