The AI Renaissance has arrived.
But people still buy from people.

👇
Can AI write a compelling story?
Absolutely.
But it will miss one crucial ingredient.
Experience.
Until the terminator arrives.
It will never be able to speak from experience.
Don’t skip over how important this is.
Storytelling is powerful.
But only when it’s spoken from real experience.
We connect with each other’s rough edges.
That’s what makes us human.
Share your (human) story.
Can AI build trust?
Absolutely.
But it will miss a crucial ingredient.
Personal touch.
What happens when you go to meet your customers?
What happens when they realize it’s not actually you?
People will lose trust.
It’s hard to build trust.
But easy to lose it.
AI is useful for the short game.
But not (yet) for the long game.
Trust is built through personal touch.
- Conversations
- Hand shakes
- High fives
- Hugs
You know… human stuff.
Stay personal with your customers.
Can AI build relationships?
Absolutely.
But it will miss one crucial ingredient.
Empathy.
I often joke that I’m a robot.
Questioning if I even have feelings.
And then I get a knee injury while training for my marathon.
And I’m reminded that I am indeed an emotional creature.
I posted about it on social media.
People started reaching out to help.
Living breathing humans that care.
That want the best for me.
AI can give me the solution to my knee problem.
But will it ever be able to truly empathize with me?
Sometimes we just need someone to care.
Take home point…
- The best stories come from personal experience.
- We build trust through personal touch.
- Empathy makes us human.
My interview with Kaylin Pyles inspired this email.
Next week, you’ll learn how to tap into your flow state.
Oh… by the way, AI wrote this entire email… nah, I’m just kidding… but someday.
✌️
Until next time,
